The championships are in Tasmania and are coming up fast!
It’s now one month until the event and we currently have about 770 entries.
Have you volunteered yet? We still need people to volunteer some of their time. Volunteers are still able to run.
Some of the tasks that need help are:
- registration/competitor services (this job is busy on the first day but slows to a trickle after that)
- hanging result slats – this is a good job for juniors who would like to help out
- Parking – busy early each day and then the day is yours
- Toilet management – this is an important job but not too onerous. It really means keeping the toilet paper and water topped up. No cleaning to be done!
- Control collectors – after the event each day a team of people are needed to bring in the controls
