Events will resume once they are allowed under social distancing restrictions.
We hope you enjoy getting out and about over the long weekend. It's a great chance to soak up forests and explore Tassie trails.
Just in! Maps for Peter Murrell Reserve now available.
You have until 14 June to complete all 4 adventures making up The Covid Canter. The maps for the adventure at Peter Murrell Reserve are now available for you to download. After finishing an adventure, you might like to enter your course time onto the Spreadsheet.
To continue the fun, we are already planning the Next Series. But we need volunteers. So here’s your chance for notoriety – create an event from scratch or just delve into the archives and pull out an old favourite. People new to course-setting are most welcome to have a go and we’ll give you assistance if needed. Imminent events on the revised calendar starting up again late July are at Geilston Gully, Ridgeway, Knocklofty, Risdon Brook and Waterworks, so perhaps give those areas a miss. To help, please contact Mike Calder.
Women's Training Weekend moves to 2021.
Did you know that we sometimes hold orienteering training weekends? They are a chance for you to improve your skills, and are open to all abilities. While the bi-annual Women’s Training Weekend that was to be held later this month has been postponed until next year, we are planning to hold training sessions for everyone up in St Helens in late September- early October. We'll be releasing more details over the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled.
