Entries now open for Summer Cup
The EVOC Summer Cup will consist of 4 events commencing Friday evening, 22nd January.
The first event will be held at the Village Green. The format will be a 45 minute score event, with the event set to begin at 5:30pm. There will be a welcome and briefing prior to the start. Course planner is Paul Pacque. Details here.
The second event will be held at the Windsor precinct. Format is a sprint event. Start between 1:30 and 2:30 pm on Saturday. A huge thank you to Anthony Stoner for becoming an honorary EVOC member and setting this event. Details here.
The third event will be a street event in the city on Saturday evening. Format is a sprint event. There will be a long and short course on offer. The event arena will be in the Civic Square adjacent to the town hall. The course will open from 5:30pm until 6:30pm. Chris Brown is the course planner for this event. Details here.
The last event will be at Weymouth at the holiday house of Dirk and Kim Nankervis, commencing at 11am on Sunday. There will be a briefing 15 mins prior. Course planner is Donelda Niles. Details here.
For all events follow the signs at the entrances of the venues to get to the start area.
Following the Weymouth event there will be the usual post event BBQ and presentation. Please bring your preferred BBQ food and a salad/dessert to share.
Eventor will be open from Tuesday until Thursday for the Friday twilight event, and from Tuesday till Friday for the weekend events. Large bribes will be required for late entries…….
weetapoona wander Rogaine
Entries are now open for the "
weetapoona wander", a 6 or 12-hour event on North Bruny Island on 27th February. Links to all the details and entries are here.
This event will suit all types of rogainers. There are plenty of checkpoints and distance for those who enjoy the challenge of going hard, but the event also offers wonderful coastal scenery and gentle rural terrain for those who want to take in the environment as well.
