Spring Twilight Events 4, south and north, Wednesday 11th November
The fourth spring twilight event in the south will be held on the Montague Bay map. The start is at the Gordons Hill Reserve car park above Rose Bay High School. Organiser for this event is Lindsay Pender. For details, see Eventor.
In the north, the event will be held at St Anthony's Catholic School, Riverside. The event uses the Windsor precinct map but is mainly focused around St Anthony’s. There are three courses available with Course 2 doubling as a walker’s course. Course 1 and 2 will have a map flip. Organiser for this event is Euan Best. For details see Eventor.
Entries for both these events close on Sunday 8th November at midnight.
Training Course
Registrations are now open for a training course covering event planning and controlling plus course setting. This will be held on Sunday 13th December at the Kingston Community Centre, 35 Redwood Road, Kingston. The course is free and open to everyone, and will satisfy the mandatory update session for level one and two controllers whose accreditation is about to expire and who wish to be re-accredited. Kingston Beach foreshore, Sunday November 15th
This scatter event will test your planning abilities as you work out the best route using streets, local links and foreshore tracks to collect your controls.
The event has 18 controls marked on the map. Long competitors need to visit them all (18). Medium need to get 13 out of 18, Short need to get 8 out of 18. The finish is in the same location as the start.

Hit or Miss Metrogaine
Entries are open for the Hit or Miss Metrogaine at www.rt.asn.au. This event on 29th November is a four hour walk, run or cycle around the Clarence Beaches and Trails. An additional 60 points is up for grabs if you can shoot an arrow straight. The event is hosted at Hobart Archers in Lauderdale. Entries close in 3 weeks – on Sunday 22nd of November.
