Annual Orienteering Tasmania Awards Dinner
It’s been a tough year, but now it’s time to celebrate! The Annual Orienteering Tasmania Awards dinner will be held at the New Town Rowing Club on Saturday 24 October. With delicious catering by Food2U and awards galore, this is a night not to be missed.
Come along and find out who has won the John Brammall Award for Individual Excellence. Did you win your OST class, and who will be the Tasmanian Orienteers of the Year? Perhaps you’re in with a chance for the Vice-Presidents’ award? All these won’t be determined until after the Southern Regional Championships at Pittwater earlier in the day. Middle Distance Championships
This event has been relocated from Saturday October 3rd at St Helens to Sunday October 25th at Pittwater.
If you have already entered this event you do not need to re-enter. If you have not entered you may still enter with entries closing on Monday 19th October.
If you have already entered this event and are unable to compete, you will be able to apply for a full refund of the entry fee. Further details to follow.
Correction of date for Southern Regional Championships
These will be held at Pittwater on Saturday October 24th - the date given in the last newsletter was incorrect.

Northern Spring Twilight Events
There has been a slight change to the twilight series. Please note that the series commences on the 21st October not the 14th October. The dates and events are correct in Eventor and the complete list is also given below. In the upcoming events, Prospect High School is being replaced with Tailrace Park. Remember that pre entry is required for all events as per the Covid protocol. Entries for the events close at midnight on the Sunday prior to the event. Don't leave it until the last minute.... the printer of the maps will not be happy!”
