I am still looking for somebody to help me with the timing setup at the Australian Champs. A championship event is at the next level as far as producing results goes, requiring multiple computers and a fully redundant backup system. All this requires a lot of person-power to set up and maintain during the day, then to pack up at the end of the day to be ready to set up up for the next venue. We have found from previous major events that it is a two person job, so I am looking for somebody to assist me. The position would suit somebody with a bit of a background in IT but you don’t have to be an IT guru. The person who does the work will still have time to compete during the day, as the work is at beginning and at the end of the day.
I also need a team of volunteers to monitor and assist the finishers as they pass through download computers during the day. Again, you will have time to run and, with enough the team members, have plenty of time to socialise. No experience is necessary as I will train you beforehand.
If you are interested in any of these jobs please get in touch by phone or email.
