Not exactly. But if I had written as the headline ‘Constitution changes now on the web site’ you might not have read this far.
Significant changes revolve around the election of Board members and all the changes will take effect from the next AGM. In future Board members will be elected for 3 year terms although to enable us to get to rolling 3 year terms some Board members will retire after just one year and other members after two years.
In future only the ‘Office bearers’ (President, Treasurer and Secretary) will have specific responsibilities. The other Board members will be elected as ‘Directors’ and their specific responsibilities will be agreed by the Board although at election time members should elect the Directors with specific skill sets in mind.
