Our attention is key to our performance. Next Monday evening at 7.30pm, join us in St Helens to explore the science and application of mindful attention through meditation. Learn how mindfulness can support your orienteering training and performance and help bring out your best - whatever your goals may be. The session will be facilitated by Jo Mitchell, clinical and coaching psychologist and past Australian representative orienteer.
This session is suitable for orienteers of all abilities.
You will learn to:
- use mindfulness techniques to focus and manage distraction
- understand the importance of attention and self-awareness
- cultivate attention with curiosity and acceptance.
