Discover the Super Natural at Stonehenge Sunday 30 June

Stonehenge 1 450x253Stonehenge is a new area - east of Oatlands - mapped this year by Mike Morffew.  It's definitely worth the drive.  You might be super lucky and come across a cluster of echidnae - as did Mike - how many of the critters can you spot in his photo?

Mike describes the area as reminiscent of the Glen Stuart map near Launceston.  Gently undulating dolerite terrain with subtle contour detail, rocky in parts but mostly very runnable thanks to extensive grazing.  Numerous patches of gorse scattered throughout will at times aid and other times confuse navigation.

Mike is course planner for the event.  And Greg Hawthorne is controller.
