Tasmanians Bask in Glory at Australian 3 Days Championships

Jet 450x378Over Easter over 30 Tasmanians were in WA to compete in the Australian 3 Days Championships.  There were some outstanding results.

Notably the team effort by Australopers - who - for the second year running - were declared Australia's Champion Club.

Mikayla Cooper won W20E to secure herself a spot in the Australian Team for the upcoming Junior World Championships (JWOC) in Denmark.  Rachel Allen and Arabella Phillips also performed strongly in this competitive class but just missed out on selection.

Clare Hawthorne W45A, Sue Hancock W55A and Paul Pacque M65A also took out their classes.

Other impressive placegetters were Brodie Nankervis M21E 3rd (only 3 minutes 14 seconds behind first - incredibly awesome), Matthew Cohen M40A 2nd, Cathy McComb W45A 2nd, Leida Williams W40A 2nd, Jon McComb M45A 3rd and Helena Griggs W75A 3rd.
