You are welcome to attend! Both juniors and adults are invited to our training camp now being held over the Australia Day long weekend in and around St Helens. The camp is suitable for those starting to run moderate courses up to elite levels. You can train at your own pace so there's no need to worry about your speed.
This camp was originally scheduled to take place in conjunction with the EVOC Summer Cup but the dates have now changed for logistical reasons.
Commencing on Friday 25 January and finishing on Monday 28 January, the camp will provide technical training in the bush and at St Helens District High School, plus informative talks and fun activities.
Accommodation will be provided at the School for any juniors interested in attending and for adults assisting with the camp. For these people food and transport will also be provided. A bus will travel north from Hobart on Friday January 25, meeting northerners at Campbell Town, before continuing to St Helens.
Other adults wanting to participate will need to arrange their own transport, meals and accommodation. You are welcome to join in all training activities.
Costs and transport information will be up on Eventor shortly, where you will be able to register and pay for the camp. In the mean time if you have and questions Email Jon McComb
