    Mt Nelson - Southern Local #2

    This is the second event in the 2024 Southern local orienteering season for southern Tasmania. The event uses the Mount Nelson map.

    Four bush courses are available – Long, Medium, Short, Novice to suit all ages and fitness levels.

    Come along to enjoy suburban bush orienteering and to walk or run with your mates, friends or family.

    The assembly area will be at the Shelter at the back of college. You can start anytime between 10am and 11:30am.

  • Lovely Banks - OST 5 - Long and Schools Selection Event

    Lovely Banks - OST 5 - Long and Schools Selection Event

    Don’t miss this chance to enjoy the spectacular country that makes up Lovely Banks and adjacent properties. The hopping wildlife is abundant and the forest open and airy. The glorious sandstone cliffs and caves will set your heart racing … or perhaps that is the course climbs I am referring to. The terrain presents a mix of fast and open running and areas that are rocky or abundant with fallen branches.

    There are 8 courses on offer for this Orienteering Series Tasmania event. Be sure to attend if you are aiming for schools team selection.

    Trevallyn - Northern Local #1

    Come and explore the Trevallyn Reserve on Saturday afternoon May 4th. The sun will be shining, the birds chirruping and the orienteering flags fluttering. Entries and more information will be available on Eventor. This event has been planned to coincide with the GorgeUs Metrogaine the next day and orienteers are encouraged to enter both. Orienteering start times are from 1:30-3pm and course will close at 3.45pm. What a blockbuster weekend to start the month of May!
