This is the sixth and final event in the 2024 Orienteering Spring Twilight season for Northern Tasmania, the Sprint into Spring Series of 6 weekly events. The event uses Windsor Community Precinct sprint orienteering map. Five courses are available – Long/Hard Navigation, Long/Easy Navigation, Medium, Short/Hard Navigation, Short/Easy Navigation.

This is the fifth event in the Southern Spring Twilight / Schools Orienteering Series. There are 4 courses ranging from a short and easy Primary course to a Long course. Some courses are suitable for first timers and there will be volunteers on hand to assist newcomers. Courses crisscross the scenic Knocklofty reserve with a mixture of track and bush running.
The Assembly Area and start is near the car park at the top end of Forest Road.
This is the annual Southern Christmas Event. It is a free event open to both members and non-members but entries via Eventor are requested so we have an idea of numbers.
This is predominantly a social event. So bring along chairs, BBQ supplies or cold chicken and salad and of course a bottle or two of bubbly to celebrate the end of another Orienteering year.
Now Santa has set long, medium and short courses but … he is leaving the putting out of controls to his rather untrustworthy elf, Red Nose Randolf, who has been known to put out controls
