The Esk Valley Orienteering Club runs an annual Northern Schools Orienteering Championship, open to all school aged students in the North and North West of the state. This event, along with a state-wide Schools Championship and nominated state selection events, also provides a pathway for young orienteering athletes towards possible selection in the Tasmanian Schools orienteering team.
Entry is open to any student at primary or secondary college and students are encouraged to enter through their schools. This event will be run in conjunction

This is the 4 th event in the 2025 Southern Autumn Twilight Series. Four courses and classes for both students and adults.
The assembly area is in the Athletics Centre carpark.

Please note that the OST event at Lovelybanks scheduled for March 30th has now been moved to May 11th. March 30th is the last day of the deer hunting season, and we would prefer that orienteers don’t get mistaken for deer. Lovelybanks will replace the Waverley Park Southern Local event that was originally scheduled for May 11th.
