This year’s Tasmanian Schools Championships are being held in an urban environment at Evandale on Sunday 7th April 2024
This will feature a different format, with an individual sprint being held first, followed by a 2-member sprint relay.
A great event on the relatively new Evandale map, features a mixture of streets, parks, sporting fields and of course the Evandale Primary School, where the start and finish are located. ...This is the second event in the 2024 Southern local orienteering season for southern Tasmania. The event uses the Mount Nelson map.
Four bush courses are available – Long, Medium, Short, Novice to suit all ages and fitness levels.
Come along to enjoy suburban bush orienteering and to walk or run with your mates, friends or family.
The assembly area will be at the Shelter at the back of college. You can start anytime between 10am and 11:30am.
