Calling for Pre-Loved Orienteering Gear Donations One of the great traditions at our junior camps is the second-hand “Scum Bag” (name origins still a mystery!) – a treasure trove of orienteering and sports gear looking for a second life. It’s always a hit, with juniors swapping and adopting new-to-them kit that might otherwise have been left in a cupboard.
We’re now calling for donations to help restock the bag for this year’s camp at the end of August! If you have any excess orienteering tops, pants, shoes, jackets – or other sports clothing or gear – that could find love in a new home, we’d be delighted to receive them.
How to donate:
Let’s keep this tradition alive – it’s a fun way to see our juniors kitted out in style while giving gear a sustainable second life! |
