The end date is negotiable but ideally the coach would continue to provide coaching over the summer months, up to Easter 2021. A shorter period would also be considered.
The coach(es) would assist the State Coaching Coordinator to plan and conduct regular training sessions in in either the north or the south of the State, depending on where he/she is located.
The coach(es) will be employed for up to 7.5 hours a week. Pay rates will be equivalent to the current rates paid for the Sporting Schools program. The usual expenses (e.g. printing costs) will be reimbursed according to Orienteering Tasmania (OT) policy.
The successful applicant will be expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with OT, which will outline expectations and conditions of the position.
