We return to the scenic and much-loved Lovelybanks map for the fifth OST event of 2025. This is a long-distance event.
The terrain is open eucalypt forest and farm paddocks on undulating sandstone, with impressive steep rocky gorges visited on the longer courses.
The usual eight courses are available, of different lengths and navigational challenge.

Please note that starts will be in the afternoon to facilitate N/NW travel and an orienteering planning meeting in the morning. Starts are from 1pm until 2:30pm.

Come along for some fast and furious sprint orienteering variety. There are five sprint events over the weekend - the Tasmanian Sprint Championships, an OST event, a night event, a local event and the Tasmanian (Sprint) Relay Championships.
Events 2 and 4 (night sprint at 7 Mile Beach and the sprint at Kingston High School) will include Long, Medium and Short courses.
Events 1 and 3 (OST 8 and the Tasmanian Sprint Champs) will have 8 courses with the usual age classes.
